Hello there. I’m Yasui, a solo business owner running a company that mainly inspects high-pressure gas equipment.
Lately, I’ve been mentally exhausted with all the things I need to think about.
Stay calm. Keep moving forward, step by step.
We’re never given challenges we can’t overcome, and no night lasts forever—let’s believe that and keep going.
When you become an adult, no one really corrects you anymore.
Turns out, that’s absolutely true.
They say “Being warned is a blessing,” and that line captures the essence perfectly.
Some people might give you honest feedback out of kindness, but no one will say anything to someone they think is trouble.
Maybe they don’t see you as someone worth taking a risk for—worth sticking their neck out just to help you improve.
Because no one warns you, you can end up sinking deeper and deeper into a swamp without even noticing—until you’re stuck and can’t climb out.
Before you know it, you’ve lost everything.
No… more accurately, you don’t even realize you’ve lost it.
Things that slipped through your fingers and will never come back.
Once you fall into the swamp, no amount of struggling will save you.
In Yamikin Dogs 8, there’s a scene where a welfare-dependent family spirals out of control.
Sure, it’s dramatized—it's a movie after all—but honestly, it didn’t feel that far from reality.
If you feel anger or sulk when someone points something out, you lose the chance to reflect on yourself.
If someone does warn you, it’s actually a valuable opportunity to rethink your behavior.
Maybe they cared enough to want you to get better.
Think seriously about what it means for one adult to warn another.
Thank you for reading all the way to the end!
See you next time!
