Hello. I’m Yasui, the president of a one-person company mainly engaged in inspections of high-pressure gas facilities.
Now that the announcement has finally been made, I’ve been receiving inquiries from many people.
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of asking you to go through the process of opening new accounts for our new business relationships, but I will do my very best to live up to your expectations.
Since receiving the initial proposal, I’ve had my share of worries and anxieties, and I’ve been thinking about many things. Then it suddenly struck me that this business succession is a truly rare opportunity—one that may come only once in a lifetime.
Whether things go well or not is not something I can control entirely on my own. Business never works in isolation, so worrying too much may be meaningless in the end.
That said, I am fully committed to moving forward with the belief that things will work out.
For the past ten years, I’ve been charging ahead with sheer determination, but from here on, continuing with a “figure-it-out-as-we-go” approach would be far too risky.
We need to be more mindful of workplace accidents, as well as potential disasters and damages. This requires a much higher level of caution than before.
Because I’ve been given such a special opportunity, I no longer want to rely on half-measures taken merely to ease my anxiety. Instead, I want to look firmly toward the future, think about others, and allow myself to fully embrace and enjoy this current situation with all my strength.
Being told by someone who has supported me since the company’s founding that “you’ve grown steadily” has been an incredibly encouraging boost.
I want to work together with others to build a better company—one that can truly be of service to society.
While there is still some time before things fully get underway, without a clear direction, we cannot even set sail. At last, that path is beginning to take shape, and I intend to move forward while communicating it carefully and clearly.
I want to keep in mind this important truth: people naturally gather around those who enjoy what they do.
Thank you very much for reading all the way through.
See you next time!
