Hello. I’m Yasui, the president of a one-person company primarily engaged in inspections of high-pressure gas facilities.
For the past few months, I’ve been working behind the scenes, and today I’m happy to report that we successfully signed a business transfer agreement.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone involved who supported us and made this possible.
This is only the beginning, and from here on out, things will truly get serious.
My abilities will be tested, my management skills will be scrutinized, and ultimately, my value will be judged by society.
Because I am not an exceptionally talented person, I believe it is all the more important for me to proceed steadily and earnestly.
From our customers’ perspective, this transition could cause inconvenience or anxiety about whether things will be okay going forward. That’s why it will be essential to firmly earn their trust and reassure them.
In 2015, I founded this company at the age of 30, and it has now been ten years.
Over those ten years, there were joyful moments, but also nights filled with anxiety that kept me from sleeping.
Still, by not giving up and continuing on until today, I believe I was able to arrive at this opportunity.
It feels as though the things I’ve done throughout my life have finally been recognized by someone.
Of course, this is only the beginning, and there is still much uncertainty ahead. But the fact that I was able to make a firm decision and agree immediately reflects my own personal growth.
Without confidence, the more you stop to think, the more fear creeps in.
Accepting this as my mission and committing myself fully was, I believe, the right decision.
Going forward, my position will change from being a solo entrepreneur to someone who actually employs staff.
I don’t think I can approach things with the same mindset, actions, or perspective as before.
Even the scale of the contracts we take on will change, and the weight of responsibility will be far greater than it has ever been.
We must continue the business in order to be of value to our customers, and I want to grow this company into one where employees can genuinely feel glad they work here.
I hope to ensure that our company becomes a positive and meaningful presence for everyone involved.
That’s all for now.
There may be difficult stories to share in the future as well.
If I’m still standing a year from now, please treat me to a drink and say, “You made it. You did your best.” (laughs)
As always, thank you very much.
With heartfelt appreciation to everyone who reads this.
Thank you for reading all the way through.
See you next time!
