Hello. I’m Yasui Shacho, running a company as a solo president that mainly inspects high-pressure gas facilities.
Do you read manga? I bought a manga for the first time in a while.
Welcome to FACT (Tokyo S Ward Second Branch)

The main character is a young man named Watanabe, who works in non-regular employment. He was praised for his logical thinking when he was in elementary school, and because of that, he mistakenly believes he’s good at it. As a result, he ends up thinking about things in ways that are convenient for himself—well, to put it simply, he’s kind of foolish.
He wants to be seen as smart and doesn’t want to be looked down on.
Those are very ordinary feelings to have.
After meeting various people, he catches the attention of someone referred to as a “teacher,” a figure who promotes so-called conspiracy theories…
If I write too much more, it’ll spoil the fun, so I’ll stop there—but honestly, it makes your chest feel tight while reading.
It makes you feel that there are many people like this at the bottom of society. I live in a residential area without single-occupancy apartments or condos, so I don’t really encounter people like this around me. But if you go into urban areas, it feels like there must be quite a lot of them.
They have pride, but lack critical thinking, and are foolish and easily deceived.
Such people get tricked by bad actors in society, exploited, and dragged down. Their lives are ruined, and eventually they start living as if they’ve given up on life altogether.
Thinking about how someone’s life can be destroyed like that is truly frightening. And it’s not as if there was zero chance that my own life could have ended up that way either…
Recently, a lot of manga that focus on human nature have been really interesting and surprisingly educational.
Takopi’s Original Sin—I watched the anime, and that was also something that really made me think.
I highly recommend picking them up and giving them a read.
Thank you very much for reading to the end!
See you next time!
