今日の午前中は息子の卒業式に参加しておりました。
年度末で来れないお父さん方もお見えでした。
会社勤めの方なので事前に仕事の調整などしておけばせめて半日は空けれそうなのでは？と思うのですが、、、やはり年度末というのは休めるものではないらしく、、、子供の門出に立ち会えないのは少し寂しいですね。
かくいう私も入学式と入園式は例年の仕事がありまして、立ち会えませんけどね。。。

さて、今日は見栄の消費をなくすことについてです。
これ、めちゃくちゃ大切です。
見栄の消費というのは、例えば、、、
あいつの時計より良い物を身につけるために買う
みたいなものだと思ってください。
車とかもそうですよね。
ご近所さんがレクサスとか外車ばかりなので、ウチも買わないと。
というところですね。
男性にも当てはまらないことはありませんが、女性の場合でわかりやすいのはファッションかもですね。
新作のバッグやコートなどでしょうか。
マジで無駄です。
こんな無駄な争いにお金を使うことありませんよね。
子供の頃、「他所は他所、ウチはウチ。」
などと、僕たち兄弟の誰かがあいつのあれ欲しいと宣った時に親から必ず言われていた言葉。格言と言っても過言ではありませんw
必ず必要なものではない。
あいつも持っているから俺も欲しいという、欲からくる欲しい。
こういうものに限って人生に必要ない物がほとんどと思います。
買って終わり。買って満足。手に入れて満足。
満足は一瞬で過ぎ去って、残ったものを見ると、、、自分が必要かどうかとか自分に似合うかとかには疑問符がつく。
支払ったお金を考えると、無駄だったかもしれない。と感じるはずです。
結果、使わない。
ほこりをかぶるものに大金を叩いてしまった。
気づけたらさっさと売り払うべきです。
必要なものにだけお金を使って、その残されたお金で自己投資であったり、実際に投資していった方がいいのです。
そしたら、欲しくなったらいつでも買えるようになります。
買うのは今しかできないことではありませんので、あとでも買えます。
ものは変わってしまっているかもしれませんが、もっと良い物になっていたりすることを考えればいいのです。
諦めが肝心。
見栄のために使い、必要なところで節約することになったら、何やっているかわかりませんからね。
見栄ははらない。競わない。
これ、すごく大切なことです。

This morning, I attended my son's graduation ceremony. There were fathers who couldn't make it due to the end of the fiscal year. Since they are office workers, I think they could have at least taken half a day off with prior work adjustments, but it seems the end of the fiscal year is not a time to rest. It's a bit sad not to be able to witness a child's milestone.

Wanting something just because someone else has it is desire-driven.
I think most of these things are unnecessary in life.
Buy it, feel satisfied. Get it, feel satisfied.
Satisfaction passes in an instant, and when you look at what's left, you start to question whether you really need it or if it suits you.
When you think about the money you spent, you might feel like it was a waste.
As a result, you don't use it.
You've spent a lot of money on something that's just collecting dust.
If you realize it, you should sell it off quickly.
It's better to spend money only on what you need and use the remaining money for self-investment or actual investments.
Then, you can buy it whenever you want.
Buying isn't something you can only do now; you can buy it later.
Although things may have changed, think about how they might have improved or become better.
Resignation is crucial.
If you spend for appearances and save where it's necessary, you'll end up not knowing what you're doing.
Don't show off. Don't compete.
