Hello, this is President Yasui, owner of a company specializing in the inspection of high-pressure gas facilities.

Prices have risen so much that it has become a genuinely difficult time for many businesses.
I imagine there are quite a few companies thinking, "If things continue like this..."
Even if a company wants to turn things around, it becomes extremely difficult when procurement costs continue to rise while selling prices cannot be increased accordingly.
From my conversations with various people, I've come to feel that working with large corporations often means dealing with very strict pricing requirements.
You'll hear things like, "We need approval for anything over a certain amount," reflecting organizational constraints and pressures from within the company. At the same time, large corporations possess tremendous purchasing power.
By purchasing power, I mean the ability to buy goods and services at lower prices.
Many companies want to do business with large corporations, and large corporations naturally have a high volume of transactions. As a result, they often have many alternative suppliers and contractors available to them.
They can request multiple quotations and hold numerous negotiation cards in their hands. This gives them a high probability of obtaining lower prices.
On top of that, they tend to negotiate from a position of strength.
The larger the company, the more likely they are to compare suppliers on a level playing field.
It's common to hear comments such as, "Another company is doing it for this price," placing you directly alongside your competitors.
The companies that work with major corporations are often highly capable as well.
Competing in that environment can be particularly challenging for smaller businesses with limited human resources.
Large corporations also tend to generate large-scale projects, which means larger requirements for staffing, equipment, and logistical preparation.
Lately, I've found myself thinking about these issues more and more.
At present, maintaining relationships with major corporations can be quite demanding, and to be honest, I feel that having a little more breathing room would be beneficial.
Thank you very much for reading to the end.
See you next time!
