愛車のハイエースが修理から戻ってきました。
先日、大垣で仕事をした帰り道の高速。
メーターの左下、ecoマークの下あたりに赤い点灯ランプがついているのに気付きました。
バッテリーのマークです。
説明書を見ると、どうやら充電系統の故障らしく、今あるバッテリーの電池がなくなると車が止まってしまうのだとか。。。
やべぇじゃん。
なんとか会社までたどり着き、少し前にハブボルトを直してもらった町の自動車屋さんに電話をしました.
カー用品店で受けていた車検で修理できない箇所が見つかったため、２年前からディーラーで車検を受けているのですが、修理箇所の見積をいただいても修理の日程が暫く先にしか空いていないという状況がよくあります。
そんなときに、なんとか直していただいたことがある町の自動車屋さんに、事情を伝えて、今日持っていきたい旨と台車を手配いただき、なんとか翌日の仕事にも行ける状況を作りだすことができました。本当にありがたいことでした。
私よりも少しお若い方とお話していて結構信頼できそうなはっきりとものを言ってくれる感じの人柄です。
町の自動車屋さんも忙しくないわけではなく、整備場ではピットに車両が埋まっていますし、入替えも頻繁に行うほど忙しく回っています。
その中でも突発の自分の車をなんとか都合つけて直していただけた。
これはもう信頼度が高まるしかないですよね。
無駄に部品を替えず、目視にて判断してくれる部分もとても好感が持てます。
肩書によらず、いい仕事をしてくれるというのは大変ありがたいことですし、こういったサービスを受けたいとお客様が思っていると感じさせてくれますよね。
自分たちもこういう受けていて気持ちのいい、この人にならお金を払ってもいい、お金を払いたい、払わせてくれ！と思うような素晴らしいサービスを提供していきたいと思いますね。
車関係で馴染のお店を見つけるというのは僕にとって重要だったかもしれません。
一つの車を長く乗るには丁寧に見てくれるお店を探す必要がありますよね。
仕事で使う車なので、早く買い替えなさいというのもとてもよくわかります。
明日、仕事の現場にいけない、という不安を感じてはダメかもしれません。
日頃から車の様子を気にかけている必要はありますよね。
また、直してもらったので、いつ買い替えようか悩んでしまうところです。
このままずっと切った貼ったでいけるかどうかわかりませんが、僕は相棒とはまだまだ走りたいと思っています。

My beloved Hiace has returned from repair.
Recently, on my way back from work in Ogaki, I noticed a red warning light on the bottom left corner of the meter, just below the eco mark.
It was the battery indicator.
According to the manual, it seems there was a fault in the charging system, and if the current battery runs out, the car would stop running.
That's a big deal.
I managed to get back to the office and called the local car repair shop that had fixed the hub bolts for me not too long ago.
Since I found issues during inspections at car accessory shops that couldn't be repaired, I've been getting my car inspected at the dealership for the past two years. However, even when I receive repair estimates, the appointment schedule is often far in the future.
In this situation, I explained my situation to the local car repair shop that had previously helped me. They arranged a loaner car for me, and I managed to get my car there today, allowing me to continue with work the next day. I'm truly grateful.
The person I spoke with was younger than me and seemed trustworthy, speaking confidently and directly.
The local car repair shop was also busy, with the service area full of cars, and they were working hard to manage frequent vehicle swaps.
Despite this, they managed to squeeze me in and fix my car on short notice.
This certainly builds my trust in them.
They don't replace parts unnecessarily and rely on visual inspection to make decisions, which I greatly appreciate.
It's wonderful to see someone providing excellent service without relying on titles. It feels like they understand what customers want from their services.
We also aim to provide such excellent service that makes customers feel good about paying us and eager to continue doing so.
Finding a go-to car repair shop may have been crucial for me.
To keep a car running smoothly for a long time, you need to find a shop that will take good care of it.
Given that I use my car for work, I understand the advice to replace it sooner rather than later.
Maybe it's not ideal to feel anxious about not being able to get to a job site tomorrow.
I need to pay attention to how the car is running on a regular basis.
Now that it's fixed, I find myself debating when to replace it.
I'm not sure if I can keep going with continuous repairs, but I still want to keep driving with my partner for a while longer.
