Hello. I'm President Yasui, a solo business owner running a company primarily engaged in inspecting high-pressure gas equipment.
Lately, I've been feeling a growing desire—in a good way.
Let me say that again because it's important: in a good way.
Being without desire is often seen as a virtue, but if we treat desire as the fuel that drives our internal engine, then perhaps it’s actually something wonderful.
By the way, are you using AI tools?
They can generate images, summarize texts, compose content—and so on.
I think more and more people are starting to use them in various ways.
I don’t use them every day, but I often ask AI to help me make my writing clearer and easier to read.
In emails, I tend to add a lot of explanations in an attempt to be thorough, which often results in messages that are hard to follow—especially when I’m making a request.
Like when asking a trading company, “Could you help me find something like this?”
If I just toss the rough conditions to ChatGPT, it returns a beautiful, easy-to-read message.
Its phrasing is also polite, and I find myself learning, “Oh, so that’s a good way to say it!”
Apparently, in a survey of 100 CEOs of publicly listed companies in Japan, 40% said they use generative AI every day.

They mainly use it for idea generation and brainstorming. Since ChatGPT, true to its name, chats with you, it’s like having a great conversation partner.
If there’s something you want to look into and you throw it into ChatGPT, the response is much more detailed and accurate than before.
It can even create files, which is incredibly convenient.
You can say, “I want to make a table like this with these items,” and it’ll roughly build an Excel file. Then you just need to fine-tune it.
It’s like hiring a junior assistant. For people who know how to use it well, work becomes smoother, faster, and more efficient.
Of course, security matters. You should never input sensitive or confidential information.
But if you make sure to black out any sensitive content, I believe there’s a smart and safe way to use these tools.
AI tools will no doubt continue to evolve.
Whether or not you can use them may make a big difference in the near future.
Having more things you’re capable of doing is such a blessing.
I hope to continue expanding my abilities by borrowing some of AI’s brainpower!
Thank you for reading this far.
See you next time!
